Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Jermain Defoe believes 'for sure' that Manchester United will finish above Arsenal in the Premier League this season.
Defoe, who is back working for Spurs as a coach, was keen to praise Erik ten Hag's side for their impressive performances in recent weeks and backed them to continue improving under his stewardship.
While it is Arsenal who are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table, Defoe believes that United will still finish above them at the end of the campaign. However, the Reds inflicted a first defeat on the north London club after securing a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford. After losing their opening two games of the new season, Ten Hag's men have gone on to win their last four matches in the Premier League.
