Arsenal are said to have secured an agreement over the summer transfer of Gabriel Jesus just days after he smashed home four goals for Manchester City against Watford.

The 25-year-old has scored 93 goals across 230 fixtures since joining City from Palmeiras back in 2016, but hasn't been a regular starter in the Premier League - which is something Arsenal will be in desperate need of next season.

Jesus, who has scored 18 goals across 54 caps for Brazil, will be entering the final year of his contract at the Etihad this summer, and rival technical director Edu is believed to have made huge steps in trying to agree a deal which will take him to London.

With Erling Haaland heavily linked with a move to City, The Athletic report that Jesus is open to joining Arsenal and that his representatives have been speaking to Edu for months.
