Arsenal have no intention of selling young midfielder Matteo Guendouzi - and reportedly told him as much. Guendouzi allegedly met with Arsenal chiefs this week to discuss his future after he was dropped by Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners boss left the Frenchman out of his squad that beat Southampton, following Arsenal's defeat by Brighton. Guendouzi had a game to forget against the Seagulls, and narrowly missed out on being hit with a fine from the FA for grabbing Neal Maupay by the throat.
The midfielder also allegedly taunted the Brighton players about how much they earn compared to his well-paid Arsenal team-mates.
