A police probe has been launched after a man’s car was stolen at knifepoint when he stopped to help an injured person on a Scots road.
The incident took place at around 7.50pm on Monday, May 11 as the man drove along Holytown Road in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire.
The driver stopped his grey BMW X6 and got out to help a man that he had spotted lying on the roadway. But he was approached from behind by a second man who demanded he hand over the car keys while brandishing a knife.
