Overnight the actress became the unsuspecting poster woman for an unlikely new trend; the cashmere bra.Holmes’s bra and cardigan twinset, by designer Khaite, sold out despite its £1,700 price tag.
The Telegraph’s fashion editors dubbed it the “bradigan”, a term which went viral. And the upcoming brand Khaite’s Eda bra suddenly became the brand's most-wanted product.Since then, the trend has trickled down to the high street with Zara producing fuzzy incarnations for this autumn season at £12.99, and ASOS (£12) and Cos (£45) also offering wool-blend bralettes, crochet crop tops.
