While many of us will be ringing in the New Year with friends and family, it won’t be the case for Daisie, a rescue dog who has been waiting for most of 2021 to be adopted.
The one-year-old crossbreed has been a resident of Manchester Dogs Home for more than 200 days, and has sadly garnered little interest during her time at the shelter.
Daisie first arrived at the centre in Harpurhey in May when her owner could no longer look after her. Initially, she was extremely nervous, which was something that took time and patience for staff to overcome, and coax her out of her shell by spending plenty of time with her.
