Anne Robsinson takes over as host of the show, creating an all female line-up.The Weakest Link star, known for her savage wit and quick humour, is replacing Nick Hewer as the first ever female host of the show.Countdown is Channel 4’s longest running series, and Anne will take over on June 28.Joining Anne on the show is fan-favourite Rachel Riley for the numbers, and beloved wordsmith Susie Dent in Dictionary Corner.The all-woman trio will be on air every weekday at 2.10pm from later on this month.This change means Anne will become the show’s sixth host.She said: "Three Girls Do Countdown - who wouldn't want to watch?”Stunning Rachel Riley added: "It’s been really fun watching Anne very quickly find her feet in the Countdown studio and.
