Andrea Bocelli’s Music for Hope concert has broken records to become the most-watched live-streamed classical musical event of all time.
An incredible 35 million people have tuned in to watch the opera legend perform at the Duomo di Milano on Easter Sunday. Music for Hope aimed to send a message ‘love, hope, and healing’ across illness ravaged Italy but has been streamed in over 100 countries.
The breathtaking performance received over 2.8 million concurrent viewers – the largest simultaneous audience in YouTube history for a classical music live stream before racking up 24 million views in the first day.
