Amir Khan has revealed how he lost £5million through “silly investments” but bounced back thanks to his wife.The boxer, 35, was one of Britain’s biggest sports stars in the noughties and early 2010s, where he became the unified light-welterweight champion of the world.

His early success threw him into the limelight with various endorsements and eventually earned him millions of pounds in fight money.But the Bolton-native has opened up about his recklessness with money in 2016, just after the peak of his powers.
