Boxing legend Amir Khan dropped a major retirement hint following his defeat to Kell Brook on Saturday night, revealing his "love for the sport is not there anymore like it was before."The two bitter rivals finally settled their long-running feud but showed admiration and respect for each other after the finish as Brook claimed a deserved victory in the sixth round.
Brook - who had to change his gloves in the ring before the bell - dominated throughout and stunned Khan in rounds three, four and five before forcing a stoppage in round six.Despite their rivalry, the pair enjoyed an embrace after the fight as Khan, 35, reflected on his performance and his future in the sport. "I just couldn’t get it going," Khan admitted in his post-fight interview backstage."No disrespect to Kell Brook, he put a great performance on, did everything he needed to."He was the best man tonight.
I had a great, great training camp, but I just couldn’t get going."I was missing quite a lot. Kell was on his A-game, all respect goes out to him."Khan, who started his professional boxing career in 2005, then addressed the question of retirement.Do you think Amir Khan should retire?
