Amazon boss Jeff Bezos to send tourists into space 'as early as this April'

space tourism flight as early as this April, it has been reported.The Amazon billionaire's Blue Origin company is hoping to achieve the iconic milestone with its New Shepard rocket this year after completing a test flight of the rocket booster and capsule.It is one if the last steps before sending its first crew into space.Reports in the USA said the flight was the first of two "stable configuration" flights, meaning the company will avoid making major changes between one test and the next.The second "stable configuration" is due to be launched by late February, with the hopes of the first crewed trip being sent up by April.In December, Mr Bezos said Blue Origin plans to take the first woman to the moon's surface.
