Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been urged to channel his inner Gary Neville to ease his Manchester United struggles. The 24-year-old has been subject to plenty of criticism this season for a perceived lack of attacking output.

Lauded for his one-on-one defending, the ex-Crystal Palace player has only recorded 12 direct goal involvements - in 117 games - since his £49.5million switch from the Londoners in 2019.

That's some way short of the return put together by Trent Alexander-Arnold, Reece James and other right-backs. Despite the Old Trafford giants being linked with England international Kieran Trippier this summer, that would-be transfer from Atletico Madrid failed to materialise and Wan-Bissaka remains first choice in that position for United.
