Gary Neville said that Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick got the "order" he would have wanted in the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
Rangnick's first game in charge, after taking over from the sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, saw United remain in control for the majority of the match and were rewarded 12 minutes from time with a goal from Fred.
The German spoke prior to kick-off about wanting United to control games and keep clean sheets and would have been happy with both.
