'A beautiful lady in every way': Tributes as Greater Manchester Police worker dies from suspected coronavirus

Tributes have been paid to a Greater Manchester Police worker who is believed to have died from coronavirus. Marcia Pryce, 60, sadly passed away on Thursday (April 2) following what is thought to have been a 'short' battle with COVID-19.

She had worked for the force for over 30 years. Ms Pryce had been self-isolating at her home in Wythenshawe for a number of days prior to her death.

An email sent to her colleagues at GMP said: "It is with deep regret that I must announce the death of one of our colleagues, Marcia Pryce, aged 60, following a short illness that is believed to be coronavirus. "Marcia has worked tirelessly for over 30 years. "She was a valued member of the team and we will all miss her greatly. "Our thoughts are with her
