Today marks the first day where face masks are mandatory in shops and supermarkets in England. The Government announced the latest measure a few weeks ago, ruling that wearing a face mask would be a legal requirement across certain stores and supermarkets.

Of course, there are some exemptions to the rule, including those with medical or physical conditions which prevent them from doing so.

But for everyone else, the change of rule means you need to be appropriately equipped if you are heading out shopping. The reason for mask-wearing is to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
