On Friday, the law changed in England - making it compulsory for shoppers entering stores like Asda, Tesco, Aldi and Sainsbury's to wear a face mask.Supermarkets aren't the only businesses to be included in the new rules, though, as anyone entering a takeaway to pick up food is now also required to wear a face covering - or risk a £100 fine.One of the takeaway chains which falls under the new law is McDonald's - for those customers choosing the takeaway option.People choosing to dine in or who use the drive thru or delivery services are not required to wear a face covering.Speaking to the Sun, a McDonald's spokesperson said: "In line with Government guidance in England takeaway customers are required to wear a face covering at all times.
