A Bolton man who smashed a stolen Mercedes-Benz twice has been urged to use his time in prison wisely to become a better father.
Lucas Hughes recklessly led police on a dramatic pursuit at dangerous speeds just a day after the new £50,000 car had been stolen, Liverpool Crown Court heard on Tuesday (November 16).
The 23-year-old was spotted behind the wheel of the high-powered Mercedes AMG on the M53 in Wirral, Merseyside, during the afternoon of November 3 last year.
