Woman in hospital after plunging down quarry in Kilsyth

Emergency services including the fire, police and ambulance were called to the Auchenstarry Quarry, near Kilsyth, at around 7.10pm on Tuesday, July 21.As a result, a 29-year-old female was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Paramedics say her injuries are non-life threatening. A spokesman from Police Scotland told the Record: " Police Scotland was made aware of a woman, 29, having fallen at Auchenstarry Quarry near Kilsyth around 7.10pm on Tuesday, July 21.
