A 35-year-old woman who spent a staggering 141 days in hospital after catching coronavirus has finally been able to go home.
Fatima Bridle has spent nearly the entirety of the UK lockdown in her Southampton General Hospital bed battling the virus, along with pneumonia and sepsis.
She was in a coma for 40 days after her lungs collapsed and she had to be put on a ventilator. She spent 105 days on the life-saving machine - describing the pain as "horrific".
Incredibly, she survived and awoke from her coma - saying it felt like a dream as her loving husband declared it a "miracle." Now she is back in ex-soldier husband Tracy's arms.
