Manchester United are reportedly lining up a move for Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel to replace David De Gea next season.
Schmeichel, son of Old Trafford legend Peter, has been one of the most consistent keepers in the Premier League over the last few years for the Foxes.
And he is seen by United bosses as a ready-made option to come into the side if De Gea is dropped as No. 1 keeper.The Spaniard has struggled once again this term and has been at fault for several goals conceded in some key games.
There have been calls for loan stopper Dean Henderson to be recalled from his spell with Sheffield United after his impressive season at Bramall Lane.
