Woman had leg amputated after 'paper cut' from a porcelain ornament

But the pain continued for 17 years, with sport-loving Humphreys eventually having to give up her job as her mobility decreased.Surgeons were reluctant to amputate as it was not guaranteed to stop the pain, but the now 33-year-old said she felt immediately happier after her leg was removed, according to YorkshireLive.She said: "I didn't once look or wonder about the amputation.
