It is not clear if she knew she had a problem with her heart reports YorkshireLive.Amanda, from Barnsley, was rushed to hospital but sadly, there was nothing the doctors could do to save her and she died an hour later at 1.54am.
Assistant Coroner for South Yorkshire Tanyka Rawden said while the cocaine may have contributed to her death, it did not cause it.The inquest heard how Amanda had struggled in the past with depression after experiencing financial difficulties.
She had also taken overdoses in the past.Recording a narrative verdict, Ms Rawden made it clear that while the cocaine contributed to her death, it did not cause it.She said the pathologist had told her Amanda had been suffering from acute myocardial ischemia - a condition that reduces the heart’s ability to pump blood.
