Woman defies trolls who say she 'promotes eating disorders' by embracing slender figure

Body positive influencer, Clara Dao, has over 150,000 followers on Instagram and works to produce content to support thinner women with flat chests.She works to help skinny women feel better about themselves after going through a bad period during her teenage years.READ MORE: Bikini fans gobsmacked by swimwear set so small it barely covers your intimatesThe social media star recalls incidents where she would cry herself to sleep at night "wishing she could look like someone else".But as time went on she said she learnt to realise that the "perfect body" doesn't exist, which is why she took to social media to show that we can all be beautiful.In an extremely brave post she recently opened up about all the abuse she's faced over the years, and shared a variety of the comments trolls have hurled at her for being thin.She said the comments ranged from "your body is not feminine" to "real women have curves" to some people even calling her "anorexic".Other people also asked really devastating questions such as "How will you breastfeed your baby?" "Can you even have kids?" and "Is there something wrong with you?"Clara was even told by some that her body type "promotes eating disorders".But recently the content creator hit back at the trolls, and showed how hard she's worked to overcome their vile comments and tried to help other people.

Writing on Instagram, Clara said: "Life can change in such a crazy way."I still remember the first video I posted on YouTube exactly three years and a half ago."I had no idea that deciding to speak up about what I went through as a skinny and flat-chested girl would lead me to where I am today."All the content I've created is what I wish my past self could see."The 16-year-old me who cried.
