A woman was able to turn her head back to front due to a life-changing brain condition after she suffered a head injury. Sarah Coughlin, from Fazakerley Merseyside, realised her head had twisted 180 degrees five days after she was injured but medics told her it was due to her sleep position.

She suffered two more agonising years before she was finally given a diagnosis. Sarah was unaware anything was wrong with her when she sustained her injury while working as a teaching assistant in 2014, Liverpool Echo reports.
