It comes after a woman in her 20s suffered injuries to her face in an 'altercation' that followed a crash in Harpurhey on Sunday.

Police were called to Fernclough Road after two cars crashed at about 4.30pm. Following the smash police say the occupants of the vehicles were 'involved in an altercation'.
