Wine app uses palate test to determine which bottles you'll enjoy based on foods you like

From a crisp Sauvignon Blanc to a smooth Merlot, most supermarkets are jam packed with a range of delicious wines. If you’re not a wine connoisseur, deciding which bottle to buy can be a daunting process.

But help is at hand, in the form of a new wine app called Pingza. The app uses an 8-point palate test to determine exactly which bottles you’ll enjoy, based on the foods you like.

Pingza explained: “Here to truly revolutionise and simplify the way everyone buys and enjoys wine, Pingza’s exclusive 8-point palate test is designed to suss out exactly what kind of wines you like – empowering you to always pick a wine you’ll love.” Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll be prompted to complete a quiz to create your personal palate profile.
