Scots kids forced to make 200-mile round trips to England to get virus test

coronavirus.Scottish Government guidelines say people should get tested immediately if they show any symptoms of the virus and not wait until the next day.But with no capacity left in Scotland, many are being forced to travel long distances or wait for a slot nearer home.One East Lothian school has had a number of children with persistent coughs.

Parents have been following guidelines and all those tested are understood to have had negative results.Last weekend, some parents got their children checked at Edinburgh Airport’s testing centre but others with kids who attend Windygoul Primary, in Tranent, weren’t so lucky.
