tennis player, turning up to Wimbledon without a racket might seem like something of an oversight. But French hopeful Ugo Humbert didn't let it bother him one bit as he shocked third seed Casper Ruud 3-6, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4 to reach the third round at SW19 on Wednesday afternoon.
Humbert already had his work cut out against one of the tournament favourites as he attempted to bridge a mammoth 119-place gap in the rankings.
And his task didn't get any easier after realising he had walked onto the court without any rackets - a rather important tool of the trade for a tennis player. I'm sorry for that." Thankfully for Humbert and the fans inside SW19 who had already been subject to a 100 minute rain delay, their wait didn't go on for much longer as a coach arrived on court carrying three rackets for the embarrassed star.
