The funeral itself will take place at Westminster Abbey which is a break from tradition as most monarch's funerals are held at St George’s Chapel.

The Prince and Princess of Wales are expected to move into the late Queen Elizabeth’s Windsor Castle home. But they are said to be postponing the move for the sake of the children as they have just relocated to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate.

A letter - handwritten by the Queen before her death - is currently being held in a vault in Australia with strict instructions not to open it until 2085. The letter is addressed to the people of Sydney and is kept in the city's historic Queen Victoria Building.The Queen wrote the letter when the building had been fully restored in 1986 and now sits in a glass case inside a restricted area in its dome. It's said that not even her personal staff know what the letter contains and all that can be seen is who the letter is addressed to and the Queen’s strict instructions as to when the letter can be read.

William has pledged to "serve Welsh people with humility" in his first statement as Prince of Wales. He spoke to Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford by phone on Sunday, vowing to serve the Welsh people with “humility and great respect” alongside his wife the Princess of Wales.
