A royal fan captured the sweet moment Princess Eugenie returned a child's key during a walkabout at Balmoral to view floral tributes to her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on 8 September.

Eugenie, who has a one year old son, August, was quick to bend down and retrieve a set of keys that the child of a well-wisher had dropped over the railings.

As she spotted them, the 32 year old Princess said: "Oh no, your keys. Shall I get them for you?" Whilst she was passing them back she joked to the woman: "It's useful having a key," as the lady said: "Thank you, thank you." For all of the latest updates, sign up for OK!'s Royal newsletter.

Princess Eugenie then took two red roses handed to her by the well-wisher, offering to take the flowers closer to the others, as she said: "We can put them near her if you like?" Someone in the crowd captured the moment and posted it to TikTok.
