William and Kate ‘delay Windsor Castle move’ to avoid more disruption for children

The Prince and Princess of Wales are to delay moving to Windsor Castle after only moving house just this month. With their change in title to Prince And Princess Of Wales, Prince William and Kate Middleton, both 40, will eventually move to Windsor Castle following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

However sources claim the pair are putting off relocating for now after only recently moving out of Kensington Palace and into the newly renovated four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage in Berkshire.The couple's three children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and four year old Prince Louis, also started at a new school just last week, and they want them to settle in before moving again, The Telegraph reported.

A source told the newspaper: "They won’t be starting from scratch when it comes to decisions on what happens to all of the royal properties because there have been lots of conversations about that over the years, but things can change when family dynamics are taken into account and they will want as little disruption to their children’s lives as possible right now. "They are very happy right now at Windsor and for the next decade or so everything will be pretty much dictated by what is right for the children." Prince William and Kate relocated to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor over recent weeks, with George, Charlotte and Louis all starting a new term at the prestigious Lambrook School on Wednesday 7 September.

The couple had decided to move to Windsor in order to be closer to Her Majesty the Queen. The news of the pair's delayed move comes after Kate revealed how her and William's youngest son reacted to the news that his great-grandmother the Queen had sadly passed away.
