Prince William, Prince of Wales and Catherine, Princess of Wales (aka Kate Middleton) visit the Windsor Guildhall to thank volunteers and operational staff involved in her Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral on Thursday (September 22) in Windsor, UK.
According to royal reporter Rebecca English, the royal couple personally thanked “the people who sorted the portaloos [porta potties], bins, moved flowers, programmed the road signs,” etc to ensure the late Queen’s funeral ran smoothly.
If you don’t know, the national mourning period for the Queen ended on September 19 after her funeral. However, the King has asked that the royal family have a period of grief that lasts until September 26.
