England coach Gareth Southgate is understood to have thought other players have performed better than Sancho in training and the 21-year-old has been restricted to just six minutes at the Championship.
Sancho, who is expected to join Manchester United this summer, made his first appearance of the Euros as an 84th minute substitute in England's last group stage fixture with the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
