The Manchester City winger has come under some severe criticism for his club form this season at the Etihad as Pep Guardiola's side romped to a third Premier League title in four years.
But that success didn't hide the fact that it was Sterling's worst performing season since the manager's arrival, scoring just 14 goals in all competitions.
Those performances saw his England place called into question ahead of Euro 2020 this summer, but manager Gareth Southgate stuck by him and has been rewarded tremendously by the 26-year-old.
