Manchester City winger Sterling scored in the 75th minute as England went on to beat Germany 2-0 at Wembley and book their place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.Sterling has now scored three goals in four matches at this summer's tournament and has been the leading light in Gareth Southgate's squad.And it seems that he is dreaming of glory, or in fact has been since before the first group match against Croatia.According to former Manchester United defender Ferdinand, Sterling told him "it's time" ahead of the tournament in which he has gone on to excel in.Explaining why he contacted Sterling prior to England's opening match with Croatia, Ferdinand told the BBC pre-match: “I just texted him because I get on with a few of the guys."I said.
