United have been chasing Sancho for a number of years and after failing in a third attempt to sign the winger last summer, a deal is finally close to completion.
The Manchester Evening News understands United have agreed to pay £72.9m (€85m) upfront with no add-ons, despite Borussia Dortmund's attempts to negotiate a higher fee overall.
The MEN reported earlier this month Sancho, 21, had agreed personal terms with United and the club has reached a breakthrough with his transfer fee.
