ITV hit sitcom Watching was a big success for the broadcaster so much so that the show lasted nearly seven years.It wasn’t look before the series, which spanned 56 episodes, gathered a loyal following as they followed the everyday lives of a Merseyside family, one of whom was an avid birdwatcher.And the show spawned the path for successful acting career for many of its star, some of whom went on to star in EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.But more than that, including an off-screen romance between two of the co-stars, one actress from the show achieved Hollywood fame and another turned their back on showbiz.
