Dance Moms.The American dance show followed the renowned Abby Lee Dance Company, owned by notoriously demanding and harsh instructor Abby Lee Miller.The students' doting mothers were there for every rehearsal and performance and often bickered about how to make their child a star.The parents always had a bone to pick with Abby, meaning some episodes turned very ugly.Dance Moms was first broadcast on Lifetime back in 2011 and ran until 2019.If you've been missing the popular show, here's what the Dance Moms stars are up to now.Abby appeared on Dance Moms for all eight seasons.

In 2016, she pleaded guilty to felony bankruptcy fraud and was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison.The 56-year-old was released early, but her troubles didn't end there.

In 2018, she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma.This type of fast-growing blood cancer is rare and develops when white blood cells called lymphocytes grow out of control.Abby was always very open about how her tumour affected her spine, leaving her wheelchair bound.She had to undergo 10 rounds of chemotherapy and several surgeries and announced in May 2019 that she was finally cancer-free.Following the end of Dance Moms, JoJo Siwa's career has gone from strength to strength.The 19-year-old dancer has since embarked on a recording career, releasing her first single Boomerang in 2016.

In 2020, she released a festive single called Run Run Rudolph.She was named one of TIME magazine’s most influential people in the world in September 2020.
