Many parents write letters to Santa with their children, read books about reindeer, or leave cookies and milk out for him before they go to bed.A child’s excitement over the holiday season can make even grown ups feel the magic all over again.But the magic doesn’t last forever, because inevitably your child will begin to ask questions about Santa.And you might find yourself wondering what you should say, or even when you should tell them the truth.

Daily Star spoke to child psychologist Dr Amanda Gummer from Dr Gummer’s Good Play Guide, who says a good time to tell your children the truth about Santa is when.
