Ann Pike, chair of Carers of West Lothian said: “Carers Week is so important to take time to acknowledge and celebrate the work of unpaid carers.
The amount of hours these dedicated people give to caring for loved ones and their neighbours who may not have anyone is remarkable and saves the NHS so much time and money.“We, as a society, could not operate without them and it is so important to let them know their wellbeing is very important and deserves attention and recognition too.
