Wayne Rooney ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.The former Manchester United star has since turned his craft to management, and after leaving his role at Derby County this summer Rooney has already become DC United manager over in the United States.

Under usual circumstances this role would stop him from being able to work as a pundit during the World Cup, but the MLS schedule is different.The MLS finishes in October, meaning that Rooney will be free to work during the World Cup before their season gets back underway in February.
