Alongside the social media post, the actor tweeted: “Me, my Mum and little sister Annie how beautiful. Happy Mother’s Day #MothersDay #mothersday2020” Jones made over 500 career appearances and is notorious for his aggressive style of play and certain violent incidents off the ball.
However, this Mother’s Day tribute is not the only time he has shown his softer side in recent years. Jones recalled his final moments with his wife Tanya in a moving interview last year after his spouse died after 25 years of marriage and a six-year battle with cancer.
