The US has hit another new deadliest day record, as yesterday saw 3,903 added to the country's coronavirus death toll. Daily hospital admissions stood at an equally alarming 125,220 with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ( CDC ) warning there could be 82,000 more deaths in the next 24 days.
It's the ninth day this month that deaths have exceeded 3,000 - the first being on December 9 - with the country's total currently at 341,505, according to The COVID Tracking Project.
