UK weather to be 'hotter than Hawaii' as Brits braced for 30C+ temperatures

weather is the result of an area of hot air rising northwards from Spain.If the predictions are correct, the UK will see sizzling temperatures higher than that of Portugal, Jamaica, Costa Rica, the Canary Islands, Cyprus and Hawaii.Further heatwaves are also likely over the coming months, according to forecasters, following what some have called a disappointing start to the year.Met Office forecaster Steven Keates said: “There’s not been much in the way of exceptionally warm days or hot days yet this year, but that is set to change.“We’re set to see probably a brief spell of hot weather at the end of this coming week.”South Eastern areas are predicted to see temperatures of 32C by Friday.

However, the senior operational meteorologist added “it could possibly be a little hotter than that”.These temperatures would also quash the previous hottest day of 2022 so far.

In May, Heathrow recorded temperatures of 27.5C.Mr Keates said: “We should beat that comfortably on Friday and potentially exceed it, or get very close to it, on Wednesday and Thursday as well."A heatwave is defined as three consecutive days of high temperatures and typically occurs between June and mid-September.

The forecaster added: “We think at the moment it will be warmer than average with an increasing likelihood of heatwaves.“There have been no heatwaves so far this year… the greater likelihood is that it’s going to be the further south, south-east, you are.”In other weather news Venezuela is in for an x-rated, and hilarious, weather on Sunday according to forecasters on BBC World News.The weather report, which looked at the forecast for the week ahead revealed a rather phallic-looking rainfall.
