Forecasters have given the UK a 'danger to life' warning as disruptive storms stand ready to replace sunny weather.Much of the Midlands and south of England will be covered by a Met Office yellow weather warning for thunderstorms today (June 23), while some border areas of Wales will also be affected.The alert, which will be in place from 10am to 11:59pm, advises the public to expect some flooding alongside lightning storms as a result of "torrential downpours".READ MORE: Florida fishermen arrested after beheading octopus and beating baby shark to deathUnsafe conditions on the roads could also pose a danger to life, the warning says.The Met Office weather forecast for Thursday meanwhile reads: "Fine and dry at first for most areas, many parts then seeing warm sunny periods.
