The Met Office predicts a rainy Tuesday, with lighter winds. Its weather report says: "Cloud and rain in the west spreading eastwards to many areas, heaviest across the hills of Wales and northwest England.
Brighter with showers across Scotland. Southern England staying dry." Towards Wednesday through to Friday, Scotland and Northern Island are predicted to be sunnier with scattered showers.
