A plume of freezing cold air will see temperatures drop to -2C overnight in parts of Britain amid outbreaks of more snow and heavy rain.
Plenty of moisture and cloud is set to continue moving through the country on Monday, with rain heaviest over western hills and combining with cold air for snow in northern Scotland.
There are currently two warnings in place from the Met Office due to snow showers across Shetland and heavy rain pushing into western Scotland.
Between 60-80mm of rain is due to fall over higher ground until 6pm today, with the snow warning in place until 8pm with up to 10cm expected on ground above 300m.
