treacherous weather conditions are set to return tomorrow with another Met Office warning issued for a large section of Scotland.
An amber weather alert, which ran until 10am today, has now been replaced by a warning for ice to remain in place until Saturday.It comes after Scots up and down the country woke up to snow this morning following plummeting temperatures.Met Office forecasters are now warning that today's rain, sleet and snow leave a risk of icy surfaces and difficult travel conditions.They say there is a potential for injury in towns and cities across Scotland due to slips and falls on icy surfaces.Icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths also pose a risk to safety.
