UK weather: Met Office forecast up to 8 inches of snow as temperatures plummet to -10C

The white stuff is expected to drop in northern parts of England and Scotland in the coming days, writes The Express. Maps show Brits face -10C in parts of Scotland overnight, with mercury remaining around 9C for the south.The Met Office forecasters tweeted: “There will be close to a 20°C difference in #temperature across the country overnight.“Very #cold across the snowfields in northern Scotland but very #mild in many southern areas.”The weather systems from the Atlantic trying to 'extend their influence' is the reason behind the vast.
