Tyson Fury could be set to battle Anthony Joshua this year or next but he’s already got the upper-hand over his boxing rival by being named the top fighter in Forbes’ world's highest-earning sportspeople list.
Fury and Joshua hold the world heavyweight title belts and talks reportedly continue over a potential future bout. But Fury has earned early bragging rights having been ranked higher in Forbes’s latest list.
The Gypsy King has come in at 11th, with tennis star Roger Federer top, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Fury is the top ranked fighter with UFC star Conor McGregor in 16th and AJ three further behind at 19th.
